Delivery and Returns
All online purchases are shipped next day delivery if placed before 2pm or unless otherwise requested. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to discuss your options. In store purchases are subject to 28 days exchange or credit unless goods are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights. During December we offer an extended returns/exchange policy to provide peace of mind when purchasing any gifts.
We Offer FREE Registered Delivery on all Orders.
Free Delivery for all orders sent by Royal Mail Registered Delivery. This service delivers within 1 - 2 working days.
Currently we are only able to accept on-line orders to shipping addresses within the United Kingdom. To enquire about deliveries to addresses outside of the UK please contact us on 0141 221 5855 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note all items will need to be signed for at the point of delivery. If your order is returned because the postal service or courier were for whatever reason unable to deliver, you will responsible for all return and repeat delivery charges. If someone without authority signs for the purchase at the address you have given us, it will not be the responsibility of James Porter & Son.

Returns Policy and Procedure
If you are unhappy with your purchase and wish to return your order to us, please take the following action:
Please note that we cannot exchange or refund items engraved or in anyway personalised unless they are defective or faulty. The offer of a refund or an exchange does not apply to bespoke order items (ie items that we do not currently carry in stock or special order items).
1. Please notify us before shipping anything back to us by calling 0141 221 5855 or emailing us – firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 working days from the date you received your order.
2. The item(s) must then be returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by Courier within 7 days of invoice date. Please contact us for return address. Please retain a proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in transit.
3. All items must be returned in an unused (re-saleable) condition, in all their original packaging along with a proof of purchase.
4. The customer is responsible for the postage costs incurred when returning an item.
We request that returns are shipped through Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Items may be returned for an exchange or credit note. If all the above conditions have been met then we will refund the price of the items, however there will be no refunds for any delivery charges.
If the products you return are faulty, incorrect or damaged in transit, we will offer you a replacement or refund you the cost of the return postage, as well as the goods and your original postage change providing there is no evidence of the goods being damaged after delivery.
