HANDCRAFTED IN GERMANY
All QLOCKTWO art objects are crafted by hand at the companies location in Schwäbisch Gmünd. For the production of our objects, we use resources from regional suppliers. In our production chain, we count on local resource services, not only by collaborating with local companies but also by manufacturing our objects in our own carpentry. Cohesion in our region is particularly important to us, which is why we do everything to strengthen the city of Schwäbisch Gmünd and the closer area.
The most important places of our company are located at four different locations in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The headquarters with the studio of the two artists and founders Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk, our in-house joinery for the production of wooden corpuses; our manufactory, where the corpus becomes an art object; and last but not least our Torhaus, which serves as a exhibition and sales area and was our very first store.

In the small joinery, visitors encounter a rustic charm and passionate masters of their trade, who produce the wooden corpuses with great concentration and a fine hand. These are then handcrafted, also in Schwäbisch Gmünd, and complemented by the sophisticated technology and unique fronts, before being delivered to our customers worldwide. The wooden corpuses are manufactured for the models QLOCKTWO CLASSIC and LARGE.
Sawing, sanding, milling, varnishing, assembling—all work steps are personally carried out by the two joiners, who attend to even the smallest details. It is this passion of our employees for every single work step and every single object that ultimately creates a high-quality and unique experience for our customers, from the opening of our sustainable packaging to its attachment to their own wall.

SUSTAINABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY
On the journey to manufacturing our QLOCKTWO watches, we place a strong emphasis on using local resources along every step of the process. We want to live sustainability. Therefore, we produce products locally in our own carpentry workshop, source products from the surrounding area, and work closely with local artists. How can we shape sustainability regionally?
We asked ourselves this question at QLOCKTWO and approached the mayor of our hometown, Schwäbisch Gmünds, with it. Mayor Arnold drew our attention to the decline of the natural orchards in our community. With their great diversity of species, they are considered one of the most complex ecosystems in Europe. Without further ado, we rented orchard meadows in order to reactivate and manage them.
