Hyper-profiled case, crafted in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Sapphire back. Screw-down bezel and crown. Polished and satin-brushed by hand. Rhodium-plated and engraved dial with seamlessly integrated flippable indices. Clearly legible in daytime and at night thanks to Super-LumiNova on the hands and indices. Automatic GYRO DIAL Calibre 5555 movement, manufactured in Fleurier, Switzerland, and stringently tested. High-grade rubber or crocodile strap with curved inserts for a perfect fit with the case, made in France by Manufacture Jean Rousseau.

Every 24 hours at midnight, or on demand, the GYRO DIAL complication-dial animation switches indices for a completely new look. Each dial features indices in four different styles: Roman numerals, Arabic numerals, baton indices and Arabic numerals with an arrow marker.

Calibre 5555 in-house automatic movement with a “magic” pawl for optimal winding. Bearing-mounted rotor.

DIAL

The dial is an important part of a watch’s personality. The dial of a Byrne watch requires 45 separate stages to produce. Finishing is entirely by hand for impeccable results, with a straight-grain finish on the dial and index plates, completed by rhodium-plating and Super-LumiNova.

HANDS

The hand-crafted hour and minute hands echo the dial, with a straight-grain finish and contouring in Super-LumiNova.

CASE

The case is how we recognise a watch. It defines its identity. Byrne Watch’s designer built on his experience in restoration to imagine a sculpted case whose profiled lines bring to mind a race car’s contours. The bezel and sapphire crystal are level with the minute track. Easy-grip screw-down crown. Hand-finished satin-brushed bezel, caseband and crown. Screw-down sapphire caseback with recesses for the engraved series number.

STRAP

Comfort was a priority for the watch’s designer, who commissioned Manufacture Jean Rousseau to create a bespoke strap with curved inserts that form a natural extension of the case. In durable, high-grade rubber or crocodile.
